The Quiet Fix: How One Office Handover Nearly Went Sideways - But Didn’t

Sometimes it’s not about doing more - it’s about doing it right.

A recruitment company in Amsterdam, came to us with a seemingly simple request:
“We’re handing over our office. Can you repaint the walls?”

They were confident everything was ready. The graffiti wall had been painted over in white. Clean. Fresh. Good to go.

But then came the landlord’s inspection.

That’s when it all changed.

What Looked Finished… Wasn’t

While the graffiti wall had been covered, the texture of the spray paint was still there. You could feel it. It wasn’t smooth. Not acceptable, said the property manager.

And just like that, the timeline shrank: three days to fix what wasn’t planned.
No excuses. No extensions. The final handover was set for Monday.

We got the call on Thursday.

So, What Did We Do?

We did what we always do:
Step in quietly. Handle it completely. Deliver without drama.

Here’s how it went down - all executed after business hours, so the team could keep working without interruption:

  • 15 electric desks were transported from storage and assembled neatly.

  • All branding and graphics were carefully removed from the walls.

  • We dismantled the wall-mounted TVs, patched the drill holes, and repainted.

  • The acoustic blow-up was removed safely and cleanly.

  • 248m² of wall space was repainted to match the original white and blue scheme.

  • 80m² of textured graffiti wall was fully replastered, then repainted - this was key to passing inspection.

  • Columns were repaired, repainted, and restored.

  • We handled all waste disposal - nothing left behind.

  • The desks were repositioned and organized, ready for inspection.

The Result?
